Create & Renew Your Horse Experience!

The Wagner Ranch and the Eric Wagner Training Center

By using fundamental "ELEMENTS OF HORSEMANSHIP visualizations and basic riding strategies, your horse communication can be what ever you choose it to be. Whether your goals are highly refined skills, or basic safety and pleasure, the elements of good horsemanship are the
vital tools that will allow you to achieve those goals.

Located in Arroyo Grande, California for over 30 years,  the ranch offers native sand footing, shady trees, and balmy ocean breezes.

Eric Wagner has been training horses and teaching riders of all levels since 1979.  He is also certified in both equine sports and human massage therapy.  This well-rounded knowledge of equine and human body movement allow him, or his assistant trainers, to improve and enhance the connection you have with your horses.

Sustainable Change Riding Clinic

"Communication isn't what is said but what is heard. And felt."

On July 16th The Wagner Ranch will host a clinic taught by Eric Wagner and CeeCee Moss-Giovannetti. They will start the day with some off-horse work that will prepare riders for the riding portion of the clinic with the goal of enhancing and maintaining learning so that riders can continue to improve as they work with their horse on their own. After a lunch break, there will be an afternoon assessment session where the clinicians will work with riders to build on their learning from the morning session and come up with a doable plan for each individual horse.

Sign ups will begin at 8:30 AM. Please leave your horse at the trailer. We will start the off-horse work at 9:00. Bring a sack lunch if you would like to stay and participate in the afternoon session!

The morning workshop price is $65 for participants and $25 for auditors. Afternoon assessment sessions are an additional $50 and can run 30 to 45 minutes.

Please bring a chair, mat, exercise ball, food, drinks and a smile!
